New Zealand farmers can play a role in slowing climate change, and be rewarded for it.
Carbonfields has been created to generate revenue for farmers from the existing bush, forest and emerging scrub on their farms through carbon removal.
Carbonfields recognises that many New Zealand farms are already playing an active role in removing carbon and they should be rewarded for this. Farm revenue in the future will be derived not only from livestock and cropping, but also likely to include revenue from businesses such as energy generation, tourism and Carbon.
